Classroom Lead Coordinator

Responsible for making the classroom experience seamless for participants to engage with tools like video sharing, white boarding, chat, polls and quizzes through our learning platform. Moderate learning sessions, tracking lessons learned, prepare weekly activity curriculum provided by the Academy to complete learning demonstration with fun.  

The ideal candidate is reliable, prepared, prompt and professional. Has experience working with children and leading a classroom. Candidate must be creative, team-oriented, cooperative and collaborative good with technology and should understand how to support or fix minor tech issues.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or professional experience is preferred.

ACADEMY COUNSELOR

Under direct supervision of LHLA Classroom Lead Coordinator. Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all activities as a supporting staff.  Participates with children during all activities and field trips. Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have high school diploma.
  • Must have at least two years’ experience as a camp counselor or at least five years of experience working with children ages 5-12, with at least one year being a   counselor at a similar program or equivalent experience.
  • Desire and ability to work with young children.
  • Ability to creatively organize projects, activities and field trips.
  • At least one-year supervisory staffing is recommended.
  • CPR/First Aide certification required (testing opportunities will be made available.)

SALARY:  $DOQ

ASSISTANT ACADEMY COUNSELOR

Under the direct supervision of Classroom Lead Coordinator & LHLA Counselor, the Assistant Academy Counselor is responsible in the event the Academy Counselor is absent. The Assistant Academy Counselor works with the Academy Counselor in planning, organizing and supervising all activities at the Learning Academy. They will participate with the children in planned activities and field trips. They will perform related duties as assigned.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be as least 16 years of age.
  • Must have at least one year experience as a counselor or at least two (2) years’ experiences working with children ages 5-12. Must demonstrate a strong classroom management.
  • CPR/First Aid certification will be required.

SALARY:  $DOQ

ACADEMY STUDENT ASSISTANT

Under the direct supervision of Love House Learning Academy Counselor, the Assistant Student Assistant helps with all activities at the Learning Academy. They will participate with the children in planned activities and field trips. They will perform related duties as assigned.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have one year experience working with children ages 5-12.
  • One year experience as a counselor recommended.
  • CPR/First Aid certification recommended.

Salary: $ upon successful completion, a small stipend may be provided.  This is NOT paid position
